The Company Ipotesi Cinema confirms its efforts in the field of production continuing to produce documentaries and feature films.

The documentaries:

‘Jannis Kounellis’ (2006) by Ermanno Olmi in collaboration with Fondazione Arnaldo Pomodoro, ‘TerraMadre’ (2008-2009) by Ermanno Olmi in collaboration with Slow Food Carlo Petrini and the Film Library of Bologna, ‘The Wine’s cliffs (2009-2010) by Ermanno Olmi in collaboration with the Valtellina Region for UNESCO. Work in Progress: ‘The race’ (Valentino Rossi) by Ermanno Olmi in co-production with the company Dainese.

The feature films:

In addition to past production is also returned to produce feature films including:

“The Day of the Hawk” (2003) by Rodolfo Bisatti (Venice Days at Venice Film Festival 2003); Rocco Papaleo’s comedy “Basilicata Coast to Coast (2011) in co-production with Eagle Pictures and Paco Film Festival where it won the David di Donatello for Best First Feature and Best Original Score and was also nominated for Best Producer. In 2012 Ipotesi Cinema, in co-production with Faso Film and The Coproducers,  produce the movie “Maternity Blues” by Fabrizio Cattani, which participates in the Venice Film Festival 2011, won the Golden Globe for ‘Best film not to forget’ and Best actress revelation (even Silver Ribbon). In 2014 it will produce the film Greenery Will Bloom Again the title of Ermanno Olmi’s last film, a film dedicated to the Great War that talks about the first world war. Made with the contribution of the Veneto Region, recognized as having a cultural interest with the support of the Ministry of Cultural Heritage and the Presidency of the Council, produced with Cinema Undici and Rai Cinema, created by applying the Edison Green Movie protocol for sustainable cinema. In 2017 produced with Stemal Entertainment, Les Films d’Ici, Rai Cinema, the film “A private question” by Paolo and Vittorio Taviani, based on the novel by Beppe Fenoglio. In 2018 produced the film for RAI 1 TV “Lacrime di sale” by Maurizio Zaccaro. In 2019 produced the film “The big step” by Antonio Padovan, together with Stemal Entertainment and RAI Cinema. The film is currently in post production.
